Ross Brawn has admitted that Fernando Alonso’s decision on which team to join next year will determine the movements of the rest of the driver market. This is a lot like last year where everything started moving after he announced that he was leaving McLaren for Renault. Everyone knows that the option Renault had on him was performance based and judging by both the active rumours surrounding his destination next year and where Renault is in the championship right now, those clauses havent been satisfied.

Brawn even admitted that Honda themselves are not in any hurry to make their decision on drivers, pretty much admitting that they are waiting on Fernando to make his move, either to Honda or elsewhere before they confirm either one of their drivers.
