BMW X5M, a new SUV powerhouse from BMW

The Los Angeles Auto Show scheduled for November 2014 is one of the venues for BMW to introduce its new vehicles. However, this year just before the LA Show, BMW introduced its newest X5M recently. The X5M is a full-size SUV that provide seating for four and with ample headroom and full-size trunk.

X5M is a true luxury SUV that comes with a twin-turbo charged engine delivering 567 horsepower for pavement hugging massive 21-inch wheels. It is fast and 4.4-liter V-8 powers the vehicle. According to BMW it can reach 0 – 60 in 4.0 seconds. As any other M class from the BMW, it comes with a superb breaking system that is unique to M class. X5M perform better than its predecessor. It can travel at 155 mph but BMW claims that it can reach 180 mph or more. The anticipated mileage is 12 city and 17 highway miles per gallon.

The interior is unique and tops previous X5 interiors with bolstered front seats and other improvements. It comes with a MSRP of $99,650, about $30,000 more than the X5 xDrive50i. . The exterior is also unique with front and rear styling. Quad exhaust pipes give a unique, clean and aggressive look to the rear.
