Getting There

Fare is reported to be $150 on average one-way to Rum Pointe, so it just makes more sense to rent a cheap car that will take you up the Island to the North End. Driving to Rum Pointe is very safe because the roads are well maintained. When you do rent a car, remember that the Cayman Islands are a British Territory, so if you are vacationing from the States, everyone will be driving on the left-hand side.
Things to Do
Restaurants are open until the early evening, and close down with only drinks available. It’s important to plan around this or find a particular restaurant that is open later. Rum Point Restaurant is a popular destination for tourists in the area for dining. Enjoy your meal on the beach with quick and friendly service.
