The 3.6-liter V6 comes with 8-speed automatic transmission and rear wheel drive. It delivers an estimated 18 city, 29 highway and 22 combine miles per gallon. The Cadillac CTS is fully loaded with safety features including front and rear side and side curtain air bags, forward collision alert, side blind-zone alert, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning and comes with a backup camera. This is why IIHS rate it “superior” for front crash prevention. NHTSA gives it an overall five stars including rollover protection. The car is lighter than a comparable BMW 528i mainly due to extensive use of aluminum. Leaner body weight allows it to handle corners with ease. Cadillac CTS still maintains its iconic front look while introducing sharp creases to make it softer.
