Are you hungry for a powerful and luxury yet fuel efficient SUV?

SUVs are not known for power compared to fuel economy. But people who want both are in luck. Mercedes Benz GLK Class delivers both horsepower and great gas mileage at a comparable price for a luxury SUV.

The sophisticated and well-built Mercedes Benz GLK Class comes with V6 engines capable of delivering 302 horsepower at 6,500 RPMs. GLK350 is a 302 horsepower V6 that delivers zero to 60 in 5.9 seconds. GLK250 Bluetec is a 2.1-liter four-cylinder diesel that delivers 28 miles per gallon. 19-inch wheels are standard for both models. They are considered as crossover SUVs that result in luxury you expect from the Mercedes Benz. Vehicles still feel solid, handles well as expected, luxurious, come with a well-designed and comfortable cabin and loaded with safety features. Some say at higher speeds road noise is audible. Also, the cargo space at the back seems small and restricted.

For 2015, hardly any changes to the GLK Class. There are five passenger crossover models in the two versions are available to choose from. Roomier yet comparable options include Acura RDX, Audi Q5, BMW X3 and Volvo XC60. Those who are price conscious should consider comparable Toyota Highlander Hybrid or GMC Terrain.
