An elegant crossover from Audi

The 2014 Audi Allroad is sitting on the sweet spot between a car and a SUV. But they don’t call it a wagon even though it comes with wagon like cargo area. They consider it as a crossover.

The Audi Allroad is charged with a 2-liter, I-4 producing 220 horse power that is enough to power all wheels with automatic transmission. It delivers EPA estimated 20 city and 27 highway miles per gallon. It feels like a car on the road rather than a crossover. But it is good to take on off-road because it comes with a 7.1 inches of ground clearance. Many consider it to be superior to BMW X1 or the Range Rover Evoque.

When it comes to interior, which is where the Allroad outshines the competition. The eight-way power adjusted front seats, duel-zone climate control, leather upholstery, 10 speaker audio system, folding rear seats, iPhone interface and Bluetooth hands free capability are few of the interior amenities that add to the value of the Allroad. The Audi Connect infotainment center with navigation and voice-activated Google search capability will wow any passenger that steps into the car. The base model is priced at $40,700.
